The house rules ✨

I take a lot of pride in doing this properly, which means I have a few policies in place to keep things smooth for both of us. Take 2 minutes — it'll make the appointment way better.

Booking is via Instagram DM

  • DM me at @beckys.beautybar to book — this is the only way to schedule.
  • I reply within 24-48 hours. If you don't hear back, feel free to follow up.
  • Please include the service you want and a few preferred dates in your first message.
  • New clients: please come to your first appointment with bare nails.

Cash only · No refunds

  • Payment is cash only — please bring exact change or close to it.
  • I don't accept e-transfer, debit, or credit at this time.
  • No refunds on services rendered. If something's not right, tell me during the appointment and I'll fix it.

Late & cancellation

  • You have a 20-minute grace period. More than 20 min late? Your appointment may be cancelled.
  • Running late? DM me as soon as you know — I may need to reschedule.
  • Sick? Let me know and we'll find a new time. No penalty for illness.
  • No call / no show = banned from booking. I'm serious about this one.
  • Booking with me confirms you've read and agreed to all my policies.

Fills & maintenance

  • Recommended fill schedule is every 2-3 weeks to keep your set looking fresh.
  • After 4 weeks, fills are priced as full sets — there's just more work to do.
  • Any break within 5 days of your appointment = I fix it free of charge.
  • After 5 days, fixes are $3 per nail, before any add-ons or redesigns.
  • Please come with bare nails — no gel, acrylic, or dip from another tech left on.

Nail health & other techs' work

  • I do not work over another tech's set. Please have your previous tech remove it before booking.
  • Extremely damaged nails may be turned away for service — your nail health comes first.
  • Bring inspo if you have it — but I'm also happy to freestyle if you'd rather be surprised.

Studio rules

  • The studio is home-based in Mississauga — address sent after booking confirms.
  • No guests allowed at appointments, please. It's just us, the polish, and the vibes.
  • FYI: I'm a cat owner 🐈 — if you have a serious allergy, let me know before booking.

I reserve the right to refuse service

  • Anyone with a nail condition I suspect may be contagious.
  • Anyone with open wounds or sores at the treatment area.
  • Anyone with medical conditions that I fear could be further harmed by my services.
  • Rude, mean, or disrespectful people. Energy matters here. I keep this space chill.
